The WEM receives data packets from all WTM’s associated with it. The unit serves as the network access point and can handle up to 64 temperature points.

The Wireless Environmental Manager is 900 MHz RF receiver with an integrated data Web Manager. It receives CRC-16 error-checked data packets from the Wireless Temp Modules, processes the data, and makes the data available to be queried via XML or HTML. The HTML can be viewed with any standard browser.
The unit communicates with the network using TCP/ip protocol. The Point Manager contains a time of day clock, battery backed RAM, and flash programmable memory. It is fully configurable, both locally and remotely.
The WEM is a data logger that can be used to store data while not connected to host computer. The data-logging feature can be used as a backup in case communications are lost through Ethernet connection.
